Top Tips For Primary Schools
Do an extra-fun Sainsbury’s Sport Relief Mile with each pupil paying a donation to hop it, skip it, run it, jump it or dress up to take part.
Ask for a donation from everyone to take part in a Sport Relief games day with a difference. From fancy-dress egg-and-spoon races, to throwing wellies full of jelly – as long as it’s fun, it’s fair game
Have a looky-likey day where your pupils pay a fee to come to school dressed as their favourite sports star or Sport Relief celebrity – like Helen Skelton as an Antarctic explorer!
Make up teams to pit against each other in a massive tug of war competition. Everyone pays a donation to enter and the winning team gets a prize!
Put a member of staff in goal and hold a penalty shoot-out where the kids pay to see if they can get one (or more!) past the teacher. Give a prize to whoever scores the most goals!
If you, or another teacher, is up for getting a bit soggy for Sport Relief, simply get some wet sponges and charge pupils per throw. A great way to hit your fundraising target… and you can always hope the pupils will miss theirs!
